Rabjerg Mile

Rabjerg Mile, located in the scenic sand dunes of Skagen in Denmark, is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the region. This two mile long stretch of sand dunes shifts about five meters a year and is home to various species of seabirds and other wildlife. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the North Sea and the wide expanse of the sand dunes. There are also some interesting historical elements, such as the old wooden cart pathways and the remains of the old bunker. Popular activities include walking, hiking, beach combing and bird watching. Keep an eye out for the abundant wild flowers during the summer, as well as the circular holes caused by the sandworm, a unique variety of earthworm.
