Puente Río-Niterói

Puente Río-Niterói is a bridge located in Brazil that connects the towns of Niteroi and Rio de Janeiro. It is one of the most famous symbols of Rio de Janeiro, and offers stunning views of the city. The bridge also serves as a border between two states - Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo. The main tower of the bridge is 711 feet tall and has two lanes for vehicles and pedestrians, allowing them to cross from one side to the other of the bridge. Constructed in 1960, the bridge serves as a major source of income for the city of Paciencia, of which it is a part. The bridge has also been used in some major international sporting events such as the Adventure Race World Championships and The Amazing Race.
