Plaça de l'Església (Church Square) in the medieval village of Pals in the Baix Empordà region of Spain is a beautiful and charming place to explore. It is the centre of life in the village, with a vibrant atmosphere and plenty of activity. It has narrow cobbled alleyways, historic buildings, churches, colourful street markets, restaurants, cafés and bars. Stroll around the square and explore the quaint winding streets and discover hidden gems, such as the 13th century Church of Sant Pere, or take a break in one of the many bars and restaurants and enjoy the local cuisine and live music. You can also wander around the nearby streets and explore the picturesque alleyways, ancient stone walls and terracotta-tiled rooftops.
