Plac Trzech Krzyży

Plac Trzech Krzyży, located at the intersection of three main streets in Warsaw, is a historic landmark. It served as the scene of numerous historic events and is the home of a monument to the Polish Patriarch of the Reformation, Joachim Lelewel. It is also the location of the Frederic Chopin monument, erected in 1926. The area itself is home to some of the most important buildings in warsaw; the Presidential Palace, Sejm, and The Supreme Court of Poland. The area around Plac Trzech Krzyży is dotted with upscale restaurants, cafes and boutiques. It is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. Also not to be missed is the nearby Saxon Garden - a formal garden that is part of the urban landscape of the Old Town of Warsaw. It is a great place for a relaxing stroll.
