Pic du Midi Observatory

Pic du Midi Observatory is located in the French Pyrenees, at an altitude of 2877 meters. It's the highest observatory in the country and offers a breathtaking panoramic view of both France and Spain. It is actively used for astronomical research and is open to visitors every day. Visitors can take an elevator to the summit and take a tour of the astronomical observatory and its exhibition hall, as well as enjoy a meal in the mountain cabin. A hike to the top is also a popular activity and allows visitors to really enjoy the scenery.
