Pentre Ifan Burial Chamber

Pentre Ifan Burial Chamber is a neolithic funeral monument situated in the Preseli Hills of Pembrokeshire, United Kingdom. It is one of the most important prehistoric monuments in Wales, dating back to 3000 - 2000 BCE. This chamber is a large stone structure with a single trilithon (triangle of two vertical stones with a lintel) at the centre of the site. This burial chamber has been described by some as 'as the most perfect and finest example of a dolmen in Britain'.
