Parque Eólico

Parque Eólico is a spectacular wind farm located in the highlands of Dólar, Spain. The park is home to a large number of wind turbines set up on an elevated plateau with whopping 500-feet tall concrete towers. The site offers an impressive panoramic view of the mountain ranges bordering the Basque Country and the Cantabrian Mountains, as well as the amazing landscapes stretching towards Castile and Leon. Visitors can take a hike on one of the trails which wind among the turbines and along the ridges for great views of the area. It's a great spot for birdwatching, as a variety of raptors can be spotted soaring above the park. The area is also surrounded by numerous beech groves, making it the perfect destination for nature lovers.
