The heritage-filled Old Stone Church is one of the oldest religious buildings in Massachusetts. The church dates to 1739 and was used as a meeting house for members of the Congregationalist church. The building has survived numerous stewards and renovations throughout its long life and continues to be used as a place of worship today.
The original construction boasted a belfry, though that was removed during renovations in the 19th century. It was eventually replaced by a new bell in 1931.
