National Air and Space Museum

The National Air and Space Museum in Chantilly, Virginia, United States, is a Smithsonian Institute museum that displays thousands of artifacts related to flight and space exploration. It holds the world’s largest collection of historic aircraft and spacecraft, from the Wright Brothers' 1903 Flyer to the Apollo 11 Command Module. It also includes a motion simulator, a planetarium, and exhibitions about the history of flight and America’s space program. Visitors can view the exhibition halls, explore a 4D theater and an observatory, and take part in hands-on activities and interactive displays. The museum’s Stephen F. Udvar-Hazy Center is located near the Dulles International Airport and features hundreds of large-scale aircraft including the Space Shuttle Discovery.
