The Museo dell'Arte Vetraria Altarese in Altare, Italy, is a much-loved museum of glasswork, focusing on the fine and decorative art of glassworking by the local Altarese glass artisans. The museum houses a wide variety of works, including 16th and 17th century pieces, as well as a substantial collection of Art Nouveau objects. It's a great place to learn about the history of alternative glass art in the area, as well as to view some marvellous pieces of glass art for yourself.
