Munkebo Baake is an iconic area located in the small town of Munkebo, Denmark. This picturesque village is set between the green fields of the Danish countryside and was originally a fishing harbour. Here you can find some of Denmark's best preserved windmills, churches and a harbour. The village was very important in the former fishing industry, with its many historic harbours. Today visitors can take advantage of the thriving local café, bistro, fish shop, bakery and art galleries. There are also numerous walking trails, playgrounds and beach clubs dotted throughout the village. It's a great place to relax, explore the Danish countryside and relax with the locals. It is also one of the best places to sample some of Denmark's freshest seafood.
