Jal Mahal

Jal Mahal (Water Palace) is a beautiful four-storey palace located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, in Jaipur. Built at the beginning of the 18th century, the palace was designed to resemble a floating island. Constructed with red sandstone, it offers an exquisite mix of traditional Hindu and Islamic features. It is an excellent example of Rajput architecture, with a breathtaking view of both the palace and the lake. You can go there and take a boat ride around the palace, with views of the nearby hills. Don't forget to bring your camera! Inside the palace, you will find elaborately decorated balconies, courtyards and arcades. Don't miss the Char Bagh garden, with its breathtakingly beautiful terraces and water cascades.
