Iglesia La Purísima is a former monastery in Salamanca, Spain. It is one of the earliest examples of Neo-Classical architecture in the region, and its construction started in 1771, under the command of Agustín de Cantalapiedra. The beautiful façade of the church is composed of three semi-arches, the central one being the highest, and decorated with Baroque elements on the side. Inside the building, visitors can admire two frescoes of the brothers Lucio and Agustín de Cantalapiedra. The church also features two galleries looking onto the interior of seminarians, as well as a set of richly ornamented altars. La Purísima is an excellent example of the rich cultural heritage that can be found in Salamanca.
