Grand Canyon South

The Grand Canyon South Rim is the most visited area of the Grand Canyon, located in northern Arizona, US. The South Rim provides spectacular views of the canyon, beautifully carved over millions of years by the Colorado River. At 7,000 feet in elevation and 20 miles wide, it truly is one of the world's most awe-inspiring and spectacular landscapes. Visitors can choose to explore the area on their own or join a park ranger-led guided tour. Take a shuttle bus along the south rim to enjoy the canyon views, or drive along AZ 64 and view Canyon overlooks such as Mather Point and Yavapai Point. Other attractions include Yaki Point, Lipan Point, and Bright Angel Trailhead. Accommodations and dining are available near Grand Canyon Village and at the Grand Canyon Lodge.
