Flughafen Salzburg

Flughafen Salzburg (Salzburg Airport) is the main international airport serving the city of Salzburg and the surrounding region of Salzburger Land in Austria. It is located near the small town of Kleßheim, which is situated between Salzburg and the city of Bad Ischl. The airport is the fourth-largest in Austria, serving both domestic and international flights. It features two runways, a large passenger terminal, a cargo terminal, and several FBOs to facilitate general aviation operations. In terms of facilities, the airport offers a range of services including car rental, a duty-free shop, restaurants, banks, and ATMs. Photographers will find plenty of interesting subjects such as aircrafts, the Alps in the distant backdrop, and the Terminal building with its sloping roof.
