Florence's Bridges

Florence's Bridges are an iconic landmark in Firenze, Italy. Built over the River Arno, these bridges have been around since the 12th century and are amongst the oldest bridges in the world. There are seven of these bridges including the famous Ponte Vecchio. While walking across any of the bridges you can enjoy breathtaking views of the city's terracotta rooftops, lush hills, and the Arno river. Stand back and take in the grandeur of Ponte Vecchio and the thousand-year-old architecture that makes this part of Florence so special. Can't miss the view of the Piazzale Michelangelo and the breathtakingly beautiful sunset on the horizon. Don't forget to take pictures of the Bernini Lions, Firenze's landmarks, on either ends of the Ponte Vecchio.
