Estatua Camello is a giant camel sculpture located in the town of Agüimes, Spain. The sculpture was created by renowned Spanish sculptor Juan Borges in 1980 and is made of cast iron. Standing at a height of 13 meters, it is one of the most iconic landmarks of Agüimes and a popular photo spot for tourists. The camel represents the importance of camels in the history of the town, as they were once used as a means of transport for goods and people. The sculpture is situated in the Plaza de San Antonio, a charming square lined with traditional Canarian houses and cafes.
