El Oso y el Madroño is a popular monument in the Atocha railway station in Madrid, Spain. The sculpture consists of an over-life-size bear, standing on its hind legs, holding an arbutus or strawberry tree in its front paws. It is made of bronze and was cast by Joaquín Inaraja in 1967. The sculpture was the central landmark of Atocha station and has elevated the area to one of the city's iconic landmarks.
