Egmont Clock

Egmont Clock is one of the most iconic landmarks of the city of København in Denmark. Located near the Parliament House and Christiansborg palace, the clock has been a part of Copenhagen's stunning skyline since 1895. This dramatic clock towers above the bustling environment of this charming capital city and looks great from almost any angle. Visitors can get a panoramic view of the area from the top of the recently restored clock and admire its unique combination of Byzantine, Gothic and Renaissance design. Engraved figurines of Jesus, Maria and David decorate the facade, while two enormous wings at the top move up and down on the hour to strike the bell and keep time.
