The Dom Tower of Utrecht is a distinctive medieval church tower located in the city center of Utrecht. Standing 112.5 meters tall, the Dom Tower is the tallest church tower in the Netherlands and an iconic landmark in the city. Constructed in the 14th century, the Dom Tower is the symbol of Utrecht's role in the Middle Ages and the story of how the religious center embraced new ideas. Visitors can climb the 465 steps up to the top of the tower for a unique view over the city. At the base of the tower is the stunning Dom Church, created from the ruins of two Roman churches from the 10th century, which visitors can also explore.
