Diffenbruecke (also called Theodor Heuss Bridge) is an iconic bridge located in Mannheim, Germany. It is a single - span bridge built in timber lattice truss design. The bridge is featured by an arch in the middle which offers an unobstructed view over the Rhine. This bridge is a famous landmark and is particularly special to Mannheimers. It offers excellent views of Mannheim’s cityscape including castle and the spectacular modern architecture of the National Theatre.
