Iguazu Falls, also known as Iguassu Falls or Iguaçu Falls, is a spectacular series of waterfalls located on the border of Argentina and Brazil. It is the largest waterfall system in the world, with a total of 275 falls cascading over a 2.7 km length of the Iguazu River. On the Argentine side, the Iguazu National Park has many observation decks and walking trails. Visitors can take a boat ride through the rapids to the Devil’s Throat, the most impressive of the falls, where liquid walls of water pour down 80m into a rainbow-filled mist. On the Brazilian side, the Panoramic Hydroelectric Power Plant offers a panoramic view of the falls. Both sides have breathtaking views and spectacular photographic opportunities.
