Cincinnati and Newport, located in the U.S. state of Kentucky, are two cities that offer visitors a wealth of historical landmarks and natural attractions. Cincinnati is the economic and cultural hub of the region and is a must-see for any traveller in the greater Cincinnati region. Attractions to visit in Cincinnati include the Cincinnati Museum Center, the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, and the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame and Museum. Nearby Newport is home to the Wiedemann Hill Mansion, an Italianate villa built in 1866, complete with gables, towers and turrets. Its interiors are ornately decorated and feature intricate wood carvings. This unique building was included on Preservation’s Ohio Top Ten Most Endangered Historic Sites list in 2004.
