Château de Rambouillet is a stunning 17th Century Château located in Rambouillet, France, and it's one of the finest examples of French Baroque architecture. It was once the home of royal families and aristocrats, it now houses the French Ministry of the Interior. The principle residence is surrounded by a vast park with several gardens, lakes, waterfalls and a small forest. Inside the château you can find several beautiful rooms decorated with frescoes, tapestries, sculptures and original furniture from the 17th Century. Enjoy the performances at the theater, built by King Louis XVI, or pay a visit to the famous Boussac Tapestries, one of the most important collections of its kind there is. Visitors can enjoy a guided tour of the château, as well as of its gardens.
