The Castello Svevo di Bari is a castle in the city of Bari, Italy. The castle, originally constructed to defend the city, dates back to the 12th century and still stands proudly today. It is a great example of Italian Romanesque architecture, with features such as its round turrets, crenellated walls and towers. Inside the castle is a well-preserved courtyard, chapel and weapons rooms. It is also home to the Museo Archeologico Nazionale, which has exhibits on the history of Bari and the surrounding area. The castle is open to the public and visitors can view the exhibits, tour the courtyard and admire the wonderful architecture. For those interested in photography, the dramatic walls and striking towers of the castle make for beautiful snapshots.
