Capo Peloro and Torre Faro are located on the east coast of Sicily, in the province of Messina. The area is known for its stunning landscape, with stunning views of the Ionian Sea, and its many historical sights. The headland is the border between the Ionian and the Tyrrhenian seas. This is a great spot for hikers, with spectacular views of the two seas and the gorgeous coastline. On the headland, you'll find the remains of a temple dedicated to Poseidon and the ancient Torre Faro lighthouse, which was probably built in the 16th century. A visit to the lighthouse is a must, as it is one of the few remaining structures from this era in Sicily. As well as the stunning vista of mountain ridges, the area also has abundant wildlife, making it a great place for nature lovers and birdwatchers.
