Baumhaus

Baumhaus, in Wismar Germany, is a unique attraction not to be missed!! Built in 1727, it is the oldest house boat in Germany, located in the middle of Wismar's old harbour. Inside, visitors will be able to explore the decks and cabins from the captain's quarters to the engine room. From the upper deck you can see a wonderful view of the harbour. Although Baumhaus is not available for overnight stays, it is an interesting place to explore the history of seafaring in Germany. Guided tours are available and provide an insider’s look at this iconic tourist spot. Visitors can also take part in a “treasure hunt” around the harbour, which contains fascinating facts and stories. A visit to this unique maritime landmark is sure to be an unforgettable experience.
