The Acquedotto Claudio and Viale Appio Claudio is an historical marvel in the city of Rome, Italy. Built in the 1st century by Emperor Claudius, the Acquedotto was the city's first water supply. Today, it is still in use as a major aqueduct, supplying the city of Rome with drinking water from the nearby Lake Bracciano.
The aqueduct is best viewed from the Viale Appio Claudio, a road splitting the aqueduct in two parts.
