Juneau's Summer Ski Lift and Eagle Crest Ski Resort offer plenty of attractions for those looking to hit the slopes during the summer months. Located just 40 miles away from downtown Juneau, the resort is easy to reach and offers great access to the area's ski runs and snowboarding slopes. The ski resort has five main runs, a half pipe and rails for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels of experience, and it's also the only ski area in Alaska that offers night skiing. Eagle Crest offers a variety of lifts, including a double chair lift and a magic carpet lift that's perfect for kids and beginners. Visitors can enjoy great views of the surrounding hat and mountains as they ski, and can also check out the ski shop and clubhouse when they take a break from the slopes.
