Sage Gateshead

Sage Gateshead is a concert venue in Gateshead Quays in the city of Tyne and Wear, United Kingdom. Built in 2004, it is one of the major music and arts venues in England and has welcomed some of the world’s biggest names in music over the years, from Elton John to ABBA. As well as hosting international concerts, it also has an array of workshops, masterclasses, and entertainment for all ages. Sage Gateshead is situated on the south side of the Tyne River, near the modern city centre, making it easy to spot the distinctive curved shell roof. The centre also boasts stunning views of the Tyne and the distant hills in Northumberland. Not only a great place to watch a show, but also a great place to explore.
