Muriwai Gannet Colony

Muriwai Gannet Colony is one of New Zealand’s most amazing sights. Located on the windswept coast of Auckland, it is home to over 3,000 gannets. Every year, between August and March, the gannets return to the colony to breed and tend to their chicks.
