The Geertekerk church in Utrecht is a stunning example of Dutch Neo-Gothic architecture. It was built in the late 19th century and is the biggest church in Utrecht, with a towering facade and huge dome. The beautiful carvings and stained glass windows make for a truly remarkable sight. Inside the church, the wooden walls are decorated with intricate decorations and a range of bronze sculptures. The grand organ still stands and is used for religious and romantic performances. It also hosts concerts of classical, jazz and rock music as well as an organ matinee every Sunday.
