Fort d'Ambleteuse

Fort d’Ambleteuse is a 19th-century fort located in Ambleteuse, France. Perched on a promontory overlooking the English Channel, the fort mostly served defensive purposes during the Franco-Prussian War. Visitors today can explore the fort, taking in spectacular views of the sea on the way. Inside, there are pathways to explore, artillery emplacements and vaults, and even a few canons.
