The City Hall in Philadelphia is an impressive building located in downtown Philadelphia. It has been in place for two centuries, and is an iconic symbol of government in the city. The building stands 548 ft tall, making it the tallest masonry building in the world. The exterior is made of white marble, with details such as its four clock faces and statue of William Penn on top. The interior includes artwork, gold and red inlaid marble floors, and murals. City Hall is open to the public, and is a great place to view the historic city. City Hall is just a short distance away from the iconic Liberty Bell and other historic Philadelphia attractions.
