Vernazza is a coastal town in the Italian region of Liguria. It is one of the five towns in the Cinque Terre region and is known for its picturesque harbor, colorful houses, and amazing coastline. The Castello Doria is an old castle that towers over the town. The castle is now part of the national park and provides visitors with an incredible view of the town from above. Vernazza is also known for its UNESCO World Heritage Site status, its unique Mediterranean climate, its seafood restaurants, and its hiking trails. Visitors can arrive by train, boat or foot and enjoy the town’s secluded beaches, dynamic port and colorful buildings.
