Schloss Drachenburg

Schloss Drachenburg is a castle situated along the Rhine River, in Königswinter, Germany. A Gothic-style building from the 19th century, it offers unique views of the surrounding countryside and a glimpse into the region’s past. It is also part of a larger scenic walking area, covering 18 hectares, made up of gardens, castles, ruins, and fortifications. Visitors can explore the beautiful parklands with its fountains and rich vegetation. The castle itself is great to explore, with its eclectic mix of styles, from Romanesque Revival and Neo-Gothic to Neo-Renaissance. Visitors can take a guided tour of the castle, in both English and German, exploring the buildings and its history. There is also a gift shop and restaurant located within the castle grounds.
