Parc Régional du Cotentin

The Parc Régional du Cotentin is an amazing natural park located in the department of la Manche, in France. It is especially known for its vast expanses of marshland and the vast estuary of the river Saire. This region is great for exploring nature and discovering its many bird species, like Cranes, Shelducks, Redshanks, and Avocets. Despite its wetland environment, there are also large forests, including ancient oak trees. The park is great for fishing, canoeing and kayaking, and its wetlands are home to some of Europe's rarest plants. There are also scenic views of ancient churches and castles, as well as riverside villages perfect for soaking up the atmosphere.
