Old Masters Picture Gallery

The Old Masters Picture Gallery (Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister) is the most celebrated art museum in Dresden, Germany. It houses the 1000-year-old Saxon art collection of the House of Wettin. The museum has been housed in the Zwinger Palace since 1855 and is one of the most important galleries in Europe for the exhibition of 15th–18th century paintings.
