Mount Fuji

Mount Fuji, located in the city of Fujikawaguchiko, Japan, is the highest peak in Japan and an iconic symbol of the country. Admired for its beauty and elegance, the volcano is a must-see for any traveler coming to Japan. A great view of Mount Fuji can be seen from Fujikawaguchiko lake, or visit the beautiful Hoeizan Fuji Sengen Shrine located at the base of the summit. There are several hiking trails going up to the top of the volcano, depending on your level of fitness and available time.
