Monte Viso, also known as 'Gran Beigua' is an iconic mountain in Ostana, Italy. It is the highest peak of the Cottian Alps, standing at 3,841 meters above sea level. This mountain is an ideal destination for hikers, who wish to enjoy the stunning views from its peak and the forests, lakes and other natural highlights around it. This mountain is also known for its excellent bird watching opportunities, with plenty of predatory birds to observe and photograph. There is also a number of Ski resorts near Monte Viso that provide a great skiing opportunity for visitors.
