Marienplatz station

Marienplatz station is the central hub in the heart of the city of Munich, Germany. It is located at the Marienplatz square, which is the largest and busiest plaza in Munich. The station has been around since 1871 and is served by the U-Bahn, S-Bahn, Tram and Bus network. Marienplatz station is also the primary railway station in Munich, hosting scores of travelers and commuters on a daily basis. It has 10 entry points accessing 5 platforms and is easily reachable from all around town. From the station, it is possible to reach the Airport, the Main Station and any other points around the city. For tourists, the station has plenty of restaurants, hotels and shops. Marienplatz is a great place to start any visit to Munich, and also has a great view of some of Munich's iconic monuments, such as the Frauenkirche church and the Town Hall Tower in the adjacent Marienplatz square.
