Kamienczyk Waterfall

Kamienczyk Waterfall is a stunning and picturesque waterfall located in the south-western Poland, in a small city of Szklarska Poręba. The waterfall is the highest one in the Karkonosze Mountains, with 22 meters of height. The water runs from Porębski stream and is divided into two parts. The upper part of the waterfalls is almost ten meters wide and gives an amazing view of the landscape around. There is a path connecting the upper and lower part of the waterfall, with numerous viewing points and observation windows. In summer, the waterfall is easy to walk down, but in winter and spring, when the water is stronger, the authorities often close the access to the area. Visitors to the area should take care of their safety, as the terrain around the waterfall can get slippery due to the high water flow.
