Hummerbuden

Hummerbuden and Helgoland is an archipelago in the North Sea belonging to Germany, off the coast of Lower Saxony. The islands form part of the region of Helgoland, which also includes the mainland. There are 9 inhabited islands in the archipelago including the two main ones: Mainland Helgoland and Düne (also known as Langeoog). Hummerbuden is a small island located off Düne and famous for its spectacular sunsets. The area is a refuge for numerous endangered species and contains several protected areas. Visitors can explore the area via paths and routes on foot, bike or boat, or take a scenic tour of the cliffs. There are also numerous activities such as swimming, surfing, and camping. The coasts of both Düne and main Helgoland offer good diving opportunities for all levels of divers. Helgoland is a great destination for bird-watchers.
