The park offers spectacular views of Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and the Hudson River. It also offers direct access to the Hoboken ferry terminal, and is one of the most popular places for family days out, picnics, and sightseeing. There is a park playground, a dog park, a beach and even a few small shops and restaurants. The park is also a great spot for birdwatching, as there are several species of birds from the area. The boardwalk connects the park to the rest of Hoboken and is a great place for an evening stroll.
