The village of Gjógv is famous for the small colourful houses that line the gorge. These small dwellings, perched on the hillside, offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The houses are colourful, but the landscape is the real star of the show, with high cliff-sides, crystal clear waters, and rugged hills dotted with sheep. Visitors can also find plenty of restaurants to have lunch or dinner, as well as some interesting shops and a nice sea view. From here, tourists can enjoy the sights of the sea and the cliffs which add a special atmosphere to this unique village.
