Faro de Cabo Mayor, in Santander, Spain, is a lighthouse located on the rocky cliffs of the coastline. It was built in 1859 and is part of the Mazo Bike route. It offers spectacular views over the Bay of Santander, and to the nearby islands of Peñón de Gaztelugatxe and Los Nutrias. Visitors can take a stroll around the lighthouse and take in the fresh sea air, while exploring the nearby geological formations. The beautiful sunset views here are among the most stunning in the country, and the natural setting directly against the ocean makes it a great spot for photographers.
