Electric Tram bridge - Iz Groudle Glen, Isle of ManrichardturnbullElectric Tram bridge📍 Iz Groudle Glen, Isle of ManThe Electric Tram Bridge in Douglas, Isle of Man, is an impressive suspension bridge constructed in the 19th century. Measuring 170 metres in length, it was built over the mouth of the River Douglas to carry the electric trams that provided an important transport link between Douglas Head, the main seafront location of Douglas and the town centre of Douglas. In its heyday the bridge was crossed by hundreds of trams and it is still used by pedestrians today to cross the river. The incredible structure has remained largely unchanged since it was constructed and it is still standing today, the only one of its kind in Britain. It provides an amazing sight, especially for those looking for an alternative view over the river, with the town's promenade on the far side. The bridge is a unique engineering burst of history and is sure to take your breath away!TOP🗺 KartaPrikaži na karti🎫 Turističke atrakcijeProvjerite turističke atrakcije u blizini🏨 HosteliProvjerite hostele u blizini🌦 Informacije o vremenuDobijte informacije o vremenu i još mnogo toga iz aplikacije.
