📍 Serbia
Drvengrad, also known as Küstendorf, is a traditional Serbian village located on Mokra Gora in the Zlatibor District, Serbia. This unique village was established by Serbian film director Emir Kusturica in 2001. He drew inspiration from traditional Serbian village architecture, with buildings made with local stone and wood, using traditional materials and techniques. The most interesting part of Drvengrad lies in the artificial lake, said to be the largest in Serbia. It is surrounded by beautiful nature and offers spectacular views in every direction. Tourists can visit the wine cellars, the Ethno museum and a library, or just relax and enjoy the peaceful, environment of the village while taking a stroll along its cobbled streets. Drvengrad is a definitely one of the not to be missed sights in Serbia.
