Cueva de los Arcos

Cueva de los Arcos is an incredible set of caves located in Granada, Spain. Created by a river that used to flow through the area, they still show the erosion and forming power of nature. The caves have become a popular destination for tourists, trekkers and photographers who can appreciate their majestic beauty. There are five different levels connected to each other with elongated and winding galleries of around 18 meters. Spectacular stalactites and stalagmites, with different shapes and sizes, give the caves a unique atmosphere and make it possible to enjoy a truly magical experience. Inside, you will find archaeological remains left by human settlements from the Palaeolithic, Neolithic and Iron Age. There are also some paintings and inscriptions from the Romans and the Visigoths.
