ALANYA TELEFERİK-Kale

Alanya Teleferik-Kale is an incredible cable-car station that lifts passengers up to the 13th century citadel sitting atop Alanya Hill in the Mediterranean city of Alanya, Turkey. With panoramic views, great photo ops, and a sense of history, it's a must-see while in this resort town! The picturesque sight of the legendary Taurus Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea from the top of the hill is breathtaking. The 2,000 steps carved into the hill over the centuries lead up to the top, and the cable car is an easy alternative for those who don’t fancy a climb. You can visit the ruins of the medieval castle and the historic Ottoman clock tower, as well as enjoy Turkish delights in the café at the top.
